// The Story so Far //

Humble Scott started out as "Arabica Coffee" back in 1988, making us one of the original specialty coffee roasters in Brisbane. Arabica was founded by Bernie Scotford who grew up in Papua New Guinea, where he developed an appreciation for the coffee growing industry, which eventually sprouted into a passion for roasting.

Fast forward to 2020, Bernie's son Angelo joined the team. From here Bernie began to pass on a wealth of knowledge to for all things roasting and the importance of starting with good beans.

Together they decided to give Arabica Coffee a new life and the idea for Humble Scott was born. Our name is a nod to our humble founder, as we continue to develop and supply the finest specialty coffees.

We don't just know good coffee, its in our blood.
